In 2011, Root River Veterinary Center became the only veterinary clinic in Fillmore County that is focused exclusively on providing healthcare for cats and dogs. We have extensive training in many modalities of pet veterinary care in addition to acupuncture and chiropractic treatments which enables us to provide many options for good health to your pets.
We pride ourselves in providing adequate time for each and every appointment. Your pet will receive a healthcare plan that has been individualized just for them. Every effort will be made to make your trip to the veterinarian a pleasant experience for both you and your pet.

My rabbit was neutered at root river vet clinic. Everything appeared to go as hoped. Meds were sent for pain relief and post surgical care communicated well.

You guys were fantastic! We have used the vet in Rushford for one of my other cats and to have my 16 year old lab euthanized. Tho, the vet was extremely nice to me with both situations and put my mind at ease, he wouldn't let me be there when my dog passed which has always bothered me. The staff wasn't overly friendly at either time and wouldn't work my cat in yesterday. You guys were willing to get him seen right away and I am so grateful. Your staff was amazing! And my Ma-Mudge is his old self today. I told my husband and we will be switching care to you guys.
