I was pretty excited for my appointment with Sarah on the 17th at 5:30pm. However when I arrived I ended up waiting 30 minutes before I was taken for my appointment. Sarah was very polite and did apologize but I already had a bad taste in my mouth because time is a very important thing and the staff around in my opinion should be aware of their co-workers schedules and be able to determine if assistance is needed. The lady who greeted me when I came in knew I was there for a 5:30 appointment and instead of assisting Sarah to get her customer checked out freeing her to take me back at least 15 minutes earlier the other lady took her husband back in a higher priority. I honestly all most walked out. The saving grace was Sarah did an amazing job cutting, coloring and styling my hair. I want to return but I do hope the staff realize my time is as important as their time.
We are extremely sorry for your first impression. Unfortunately our evening hours after 5 we do not have a receptionist. We offer appointments till 9:00 to accommodate guests that work during the day. Sarah chooses to follow up with her guests at the end of the service especially the two that were prior to your appointment at 5:30 since she takes a flight to Missouri to get her hair done from Sarah. (she lives out of state) We are usually 90% on time with our services and I again apologize for the way you experienced ROOTS. With that being said, we did take $20.00 off your ticket that day to show you we are sorry and we were aware of the inconvenience. I was aware and working that shift and was aware of the inconvenience it created that is why I asked Sarah to take $20 off the bottom line.
