Mixed review. The service was, and has always been very good. The people are nice, BUT, the only reason I went to Rothe's yesterday was because I received a text in the morning saying they want my business, that they sent two letters recently (coupons) and have not heard from me.
I was supposed to go to Mad Hatter, but Rothe's is closer so I went to Rothe's with letter (coupons) in hand. I gave it to Dennis when I dropped off the pickup. When I returned, Dennis gave me the bill with coupon as $9.99. Great price. Did not expect it. Then when he tried to ring it up, it did not accept it. In the letter it said use by July 29. OK, still was cheap, $39.99, but $30 is $30.
My argument is why send me a text on August 14 about coupons that expired on July 29 ? Note: the expiration date was not on the coupon, but rather in the body of the letter. There was no expiration date on the actual coupon.
Hi John, after reading your review I checked with the marketing department. History shows that on four prior occasions discount offers were sent you with the last being on or around June 30. The letter you refer to is the actual coupon with two special offers on it and the expiration date is clearly written in bold lettering. The text you received refers to the fact that we hadn't seen you in a while asking if there was anything we could do for you and wishing you well. Nowhere does it mention a specific discount or coupon. I hope this helps clarify any confusion you may have. Keep an eye on your mail as we periodically send specials out to our good customers like yourself. We appreciate your patronage and it's always a pleasure to serve you. Thanks Nick and staff.
