I have been a client with Royston for years, large animal and small. I feel less satisfied with the small animal experiences that I have had, although the veterinarian that I have seen the last several times I have liked. The care of my pet was discussed with the vet, antibiotics and a wormer, with surgery on the following Monday. The vet went back to get me an estimate on the surgery, the tech returned with my pet and had given her a long acting antibiotic and a topical wormer. I stated that I really don't like topical wormers, but I was never given the choice. I would have liked to have the choice on the long acting antibiotic vs taking home and dispensing.
To top it all off, when the estimate was given to me, by the tech, because I never saw the vet again. the bill for the day was 96.00, I was prepared to pay 200.00 for the treatments. the estimate for the surgery was 232.50. I asked if I could bill the balance (of about 100.00) and was told no.
Over the course of the last few months of 2016 I have spent several hundred dollars, one month it was 1,000.00.
I feel like my previous business was not appreciated enough to extend me the courtesy of billing a hundred dollars for a couple of weeks. I'm not saying I won't come back, but I do have small animal vets who are closer to my home and I was trying to support my large animal vet in her business.

Our goal has been and always will be to provide quality veterinarian medicine at a fair price. We always try our best to do what we can to help your pets while staying within the means of the client. In addition we will always offer payment options to all of our clients. We offer Care Credit and Wells Fargo. This gives you the opportunity to pay for any Veterinarian expenses for up to 6 months without interest. I am so sorry that these options were not presented to you.
