The dental work at Rubinstein Dentistry is always fine. I never question their technical competence.
On visits where I receive dental work, I am frequently confused about how much I have to pay. I don't think this is unique to Rubinstein Dentistry. For most businesses, when I agree to purchase a service, I know upfront the cost of the service. At a restaurant, I receive a menu. At a store items have price tags. Home repair businesses provide a quote and are bound by the quote. But at the dentist, when I ask for the price, it's never a clear answer. It depends on insurance and in-network status and probably other factors. Different customers get different prices based on which insurance they have. The dentist told me it's illegal for me to negotiate a lower price. Only insurance companies are allowed to do that. It's not straightforward to shop around and compare prices.
If Rubinstein Dentistry could clarify their pricing structure that would drastically improve my customer experience.
