I arrived early (10 minutes till) but the appointment was pretty late to start... Pushing my appointment time further behind. I got out in 2 hours and 15 minutes, much later than expected (was told 1.5 hours for a PM shine + cut).
There was another appointment that the stylist was working on at the same time, thus delaying my service further. I asked at 30 minutes till the supposed 1.5 hour appointment window was supposed to be over if things are still looking like they would be on track, which she said I should be only 15 minutes late...I ended up at 45 minutes past. I had to tell the stylist to just cut quickly and skip bangs, and I ended up being late to my next appointment. To be safe I had planned an hour of padding into the timeline between appointments!
I'd recommend the business tell the customer up front if multiple appointments are being planned to coincide at the same time. I'd also recommend telling the customer the honest reality of the situation when they ask, so I could have called my other appointment to advise them of the delay and possibly push back or reschedule that appointment.
On a side note, my hair cut is also uneven which is disappointing for such a long appointment...
