Another visit to S2 with complete satisfaction. At 10 years old and approaching 200,000 miles my 525xi needs a little extra TLC now and then. Because of convenience to my work location I've taken her to BMW Fairfax the last few times and while the customer service has been great and the fix it while you wait is super I always leave there thinking I may have to cancel the family vacation when I get the bill. They also put a bit of pressure on to also take care of x, y, or z.
S2, on the other hand, always does the required service (this time it was back breaks) and gives me a fully rundown on what else I can consider with the perspective of, "you COULD do "this" but given the car's age and present value I probably wouldn't recommend it but I would recommend that you do "that" because if you don't it's likely you'll be looking at a very large expense in a couple of years."
I just wish the location was a LITTLE more convenient to where I work.
