I've been a loyal customer of PM for 2 years.
Until yesterday I'd only had one bad cut, and the experience was still pleasant so I came back once my hair had grown out. But after yesterday I'm not sure I'll be back.
I got there shortly before 10 and was there until after 3pm. For color.
I realize I asked the opinion of the learning leader, and ended up going with what she suggested, yet there was a much faster way to do it.
They started me in lightner, and I was in it for 2 hours before it was rinsed out and bleach put it it's place. First, I could've started in bleach and just been checked sooner, like in 15 minute increments, instead of lightened at every 45 and wasting all that time. The other issue is, the darkest part of my hair was bleached LAST instead of first so it had the least amount of time on it. Finally, at 230 color was put on. 30 minutes later I was rinsed, and decided no style since I was already late for work. Then, this morning getting ready my fiance notices I have a blonde spot on the back of my head, and a purple spot still on my left side. I have a pixie. How was this not noticed in the nearly 6 hours I was there?
It's very noticeable, yet I dont have 5 hours to have it fixed. I'll be using a box dye just to cover it so I dont get yet another write up at work. (They were already mad about the purple hair, then being late from a 5+ hour dye didn't help.) I'm sad that PM isn't what it used to be. If Jackie was the learning leader this wouldn't have happened. She understands colored hair and direct dye, and she would've known what to do. In half the time, too.
