It was really fantastic. Thank you Kelly for making this hour of facial massage to remember for a long time. Love the sauna beforehand as well.

One of the top spas that I’ve been to in the Mid-Atlantic region. Staff is very helpful and accommodating.

I had high expectations of this spa based on the reviews I had read on the hotel and the spa. Unfortunately, my experience was sub part. First, my friend and I got hung up in traffic on the way and called to let them know.. We asked if our our appointment could be moved and were told no since we were last appointment of the day. They also informed us that our lateness would cut into our appointment time. This I didn't understand since if we were the last appointment of the day are they that inflexible that we couldn't get our full 50 minute massage and the therapist work an extra 10 minutes? On the way back, my therapist asked if they had given me a key to the locker and I said no and she said "We don't have any available and you're going to change in the room anyway". Another strange comment, how is that I am the last appointment of the day and there are no lockers. It was all fine and good because I just wanted to start the service. The massage and she gave me time to change. On the way out she told me to drink plenty of water and I asked were we going to go through the lounge we walked through on the way in and could I get some water there. She tells me they don't have any water and to check with the girl when I checked out. Ironically, right at that moment we were walking past a woman who had just finished her service because she had her robe on and she was telling another technician that someone had gone to get her water! As I was paying for my service, I am told by the girl takng the payment to drink plenty of water. I ask for water and once again I was told they didn't have any water and I had to go to hotel front desk or concierge and get it from them. I walk to the front desk and ask the person there for water and she directs me to the sundry to buy water!!!!! I travel a lot and never have I asked a hotel front desk for a bottle of water and they direct me to a store to buy it! I told her I had just had a massage and everyone is telling me to drink water but I can't seem to get any. She says "let me check" and cones back with two bottles of water. I can honestly say this was my first and last time there. I felt like I was treated like a second class citizen. I am not sure if race played a part o not, but it may have, I am Black and the woman in the hallway who they were getting water for was Asian. Regardless, you all will not get another dime of my money every again.

The steam room was broken and blocked off during my visit. The "relaxation room" was nothing special. My massage was horrible. Literally the worst I've ever had. The floor also needed to be vacuumed in my room and there was dried blood on my sheets, The attendants were very friendly though.

I was very disappointed in my visit to Sago Spa at the Hyatt Chesapeake. First and foremost, I will admit my friend and I were 17 minutes late to our service appointment. The Bay Bridge is horrendous this time of year but we left at 1 pm for a 4 pm service. To add to this, I did take a wrong turn (my GPS sent me to another facility) and this compounded the lateness by going 20 miles the wrong way and having to double back the 20 plus 16 miles to reach the Spa. We did call twice to let them know our situation and timing. There were no appointments after our 4 pm appointment but the Spa did not even add 10 minutes extra to our treatments. So I paid $140 for a 30 minute massage that should have been 50 minutes. I was not even offered a 10% discount for the 30 minutes. The Spa did not close at 5 pm because initially we had two other friends that were coming and there appointments were at 4:30 pm, which meant that they would have finished around 5:20 pm. We were treated rudely and my friend asked for some water and they said they didn't have any more. At least my masseuse, did have a glass of water for me when I came out. My friend had nothing and the entire experience was horrible. I will not recommend the Sago Spa to any friends or the Hyatt Chesapeake as well. When my friend went to the front desk to get some water bottles, they told her she had to pay! She informed them that she just finished a spa treatment and the spa did not have any water bottles. So they gave her only two water bottles. This is not the way to treat new customers and want them to spread the word and return to your establishment. I will not be going back or making a recommendation. I also plan to send a letter to headquarters to let them know how rude we were treated. I will take responsibility for being late even though we left 3 hours in advance, but you don't have to treat your customers this way.
