For twenty-five years, Salon del Sol has been providing Richmonders and Roanokers with modern hair styling, customized color and unique spa treatments that blend contemporary and ancient techniques. Salon del Sol uses exclusively Aveda's high performance, botanically based and 99% naturally derived professional hair color products, as well as Aveda's critically acclaimed hair styling, skin and body products in all our services. Salon del Sol also retails the entire Aveda line of hair, styling, skin care, body, men, makeup, pure-fume(TM) and gifts.
As a salon guest, you can expect to receive at least two of the complimentary Aveda Rituals of Renewal each time you visit our salon. Haircut was fine. Customer service was poor. Because the stylist was rude, I won’t be going back. For people who haven’t been, I recommend reading the reviews closely. There may be better stylists that I didn’t get to work with.

Came in to buy hair products, there wasn’t any one at the front for at least 10 mins. All the stylist was busy helping their clients and I needed help with products. I had to text my stylist who wasn’t even at work to see what products to get. Once I got my products, there still wasn’t anyone at the front to check me out. I had to ask the stylist to get someone to the back to check me out. Salon deal Sol really lowered their standards with the front desk coordinators.
