I'm a frequent customer of SalonAmour. Love the experience, staff and location. However, this passed experience has left me quite puzzled.
-My regular stylist was not there, but the person who did my cut and touch up was still very nice and professional so this review is not a reflection on her.
-It was New Year's Eve, so I understand things can go wrong. The water was freezing during my wash and she acknowledged and apologized for this. I didn't want to complain at this point, because there was not much she could do about this.
-My cut and color touch up has always been $125.00. My stylist always confirms this with me prior. This time my total came up to $175.00! I was shocked and not sure why the price went up, but I'm generally only there 2 hours and this time I was there close to 3 hrs, and had to leave, so I simply paid.
If someone can give me clarity on the pricing, I'd much appreciate it. I come here because of the natural products, service, experience, and I'm in and out the door! I'm afraid it will be hard to continue SalonAmour if the price hikes up without any notifcation and for a simple cut and a touch up of color it doesn't make any sense.
Thank you for your email. We do again apologize for the intermittent cold water on the day of your visit, we have since resolved that problem. Our prices vary quite a bit based on the level of experience of our stylists. We have stylists with 2-3 years of experience at our starting price point, to our Master stylists with 20+ years of experience with many price points in between. In the past your appointments have been with newer stylists and on NYE you saw one of our lead stylist which is why there was a difference in price. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and are happy to discuss pricing with you regarding any future appointments. We value our guests and it is important to us to match you with both stylist and price that you are happy with. -Thank you, Amy Futakawa. Salon Manager
