You want to save a $158 dollars, go buy the "Curl Girl Method" book; the book will give you better information than what Melissa will give you. Also, if you want to be drilled about how flat irons ruin your curls, then she is the person to go see; she has no empathy or compassion what so ever. This is the worst hair appointment I've EVER been to in my entire life, and I am 37 years old. Not only was it a waste of money, Melissa couldn't tell me what kind of "curls" I had because I had used a flat iron 3 months prior, they weren't my "natural" curls. And, don't even think about asking her to color your hair, even though it's offered on the website because that is a BIG FAT NO. The only way she will add color to your hair is if you have all "natural" curls, which means...you haven't used a flat iron, or any curling iron or anything of that sort. Seriously, save yourself $158 dollars and buy the book, it's only like $10 dollars because you will get NOTHING from seeing Melissa besides drilled about how your curls are not "natural." WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.......

Took my curly-head daughter to see Melissa. I have been at a loss as to how to handle her frizzy curls for YEARS. I was blown away by everything I learned from Melissa about curly hair and how to care for it. My daughter came out of the salon with the best haircut she has ever received, and a head of healthy, frizz-free curly hair like Ive never seen on her! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Melissa!
