I was visiting from out of town to attend a family wedding and wanted to get an updo for myself and my two daughters. I contacted Salon Gaboa for availability. Not only was my email answered promptly but the Salon kept me updated leading up to our appointment. Once we arrived, we met our stylists and they were warm, friendly, knowledgeable and listened to what all three of us wanted. The styles for all three of us were beautifully done and exactly what we wanted. Our styles ranged from a classic high bun; blow out with curls; and a textured undone updo. One thing I noticed while we were having our hair done was how friendly the staff and customers were with each, customers and salon staff had a friend-like vibe. Everyone was in a great mood and all were happy to be there.
While I was wrapping up my appointment, the salon's owner came over to introduce himself. He thanked us for choosing Salon Gaboa and was friendly while chatting with us.
Our experience was impeccable. If we lived closer, we would certainly be regular customers of this salon, for now, we'll have to visit when we have an event in the Toronto area. Thank you so much Filomena, Anita and Stella!

I am from Montréal and i have been to this salon with no appointment and this lovelly girl took me without problem. We started speaking and she went to see this lovely guy who's name is Daniel and after spending 2 minutes speaking he understood right away my mind.
He cut my hair so nice that I can qualify his work of professional styling. He's one of the best you can found in 6 hours driving around area this I can tell.....
Wish we have one Daniel in every town

I went in for a root touchup and cut. Colour was fine, point was to cover greys and they were covered, but upon leaving the salon noticed that my ears inside were covered in dried shampoo mixed with dye. It was gross, so I had to rewash to get all the product out after I got home, so also a bit of a waste of a style. Haircut was fine, boring and nothing special. Totally underwhelming and mostly a trim within 10 mins. But it wasn't a terrible cut, just not a great one.
I won't return, but it will do until I'm due for another salon visit.
