Ashley is excellent and a true professional. She takes the time to fully understand what the client is looking for before offering her opinion on how to achieve that look. She talks you through each step to make sure it's what you want. She asks the right questions and has a knack for knowing just how to articulate what her clients are asking for. She is conservative when asked to be, and bold when given permission. She is a blonde expert and understands the importance of maintaining hair health in conjunction with bleach and heat damage. She's one of the few stylists I have met who will do a true "baby trim" of "JUST THE DEAD ENDS" even if it makes her cringe inside. She's kind, wicked smart, and an absolute pleasure to be around. She knows I value salon products but also have a tight budget. She introduces me to products that I may like and is cautious not to be pushy with them. I have never felt rushed in Ashley's chair despite requiring a long processing time, and always leave with a perfectly finished look.

I recently moved out of state and drove 5 hours back to see Ashley because it wasn't worth the risk of having someone new mess up my hair (which is what happened before I met Ashley). If you are chemically blonde and aren't on her books yet, I'd 100% book with her now before she stops taking clients. I am shocked each time I'm able to get in with her last minute.

The salon itself is in a great location and is always tidy and relaxing, but the reason I visit MC is for Ashley alone.

Amy is the absolute best! After having the hardest time finding a stylist in Raleigh who could get the cut right on my thin curly hair, Amy knocked it out of the park and I’m a client for life. I always have a great experience at Mark Christopher Salon. Everyone is so friendly and they really take the time to make you feel comfortable and cared about. I recommend everyone to come here, especially to see Amy!

My colorist was very good! Custom service was nice. The prices are exceedingly high. I got a partial foil. No cut, a k18 treatment and it was $477. I have never paid so much for a service. For that reason I’m giving it 4 stars.
