This was not the service I am usually used to. When I make an appointment I get a text to confirm and this time I did not. There was some confusion as to which day was the actual appointment. The result was being squeezed in on a Saturday. The really shock for me was the bill. For a partial High light and cut with blow out for a 12 year old I ended up paying approximately $170...excluding the $32 tip I gave for squeezing us in even though the whole time I was under the impression I had the Saturday appointment. I'm used to paying that much for myself but for a 12 year old girl? My son had a similar appointment a week or two before and it cost more than $70 less. When I called back to check and see if this indeed the correct charge I was told that there was a $30 charge for a "Toner". Did my son not get the Toner? If he didn't need it then why did she?
I would have liked:
A) for consistency in appointment confirmation. Please do it for every appointment whether it's for me or for my kid.
B) Make sure the customer is clear on how much something will cost especially if it's for a 12 year old girl. And especially if it was lesser price 2 weeks earlier for my 17 year old son.
Let me just add I love this Salon and have faithfully been going here since 2011. Seeing my hair dresser there since before she worked at Salon NV. This appointment was not with my regular person while I think she did a beautiful job on my daughters hair, I'm just in "Bill shock."
I would like to apologize for any miscommunication, missing information and the fact that you were less than satisfied with your visit. We some how had two client cards for you in our system, one which did not have the proper phone number for confirmation,(that has since been deleted to ensure we have no more confusion). Color process prices are not set by age but by length and thickness. Toners are used on a client to client bases, depending on lift and desired tone. If you ever have any questions and concerns please feel free to reach out to management.
