I took my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 to this facility as I have done for the past 19 or 20 years. This time was a well spent service as I was getting my truck ready for a Denver trip in the dead of winter.
They gave it a once over and checked the maintenance history.
I knew I needed to change out the batteries as they were six years old and I was was about to travel into negative zero temperatures.
Same Day not only did that and the service, they also found bad ball joints on my truck. So bad that as they were removing one of them, it completely fell apart. If anyone has seen a car on the side of the road with one of the front axle tires folded back and laying flat on the side of the road, it is usually a failed ball joint.
Before the fix, my truck wandered and was hard to keep in the lane and after the fix (and it wasn't cheap, but was cheaper than other shops) the truck stays in its lane. If I had driven my vehicle to Denver in it's previous state, something bad could have very well happened.
Thank you Grant and the team at the Bixby shop.
