Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon ("OMS"), Dr. Boghossian manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Boghossian practices a range of oral and maxillofacial surgery which includes wisdom teeth removal and dental implants. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort.

It was nervewracking to have my 8-year-old get 8 teeth extracted (and 2 of them were permanents that were still impacted). However, Dr. Boghossian's office made it as comfortable as it could be. They use a separate, skilled anesthesiologist, which is what you want when you are putting children "under". They were thorough, and fast and very available to me with my questions post-op. Their office is modern and updated which also put me at ease (for some reason!). She has had little to no pain, which is really amazing. I would go there again if either of my children or I needed any type of oral surgery.
