Zoe came in for injured tail. Puncture wounds from our puppy. The tail was wrapped in a plastic protection cone and sticky plastic tape was placed on an infected tail. I questioned the doctor about this, creating a moist are on an infection. Sure enough less than 24hrs. ,there was a foul smell and I removed the dressing that was spouse to stay on for days. Her tail was tripping in tissue fluid and more infected then before, a petri dish. I cleaned her tail and wrapped in with a cotton gaze put a cone on her and let her sleep in a cage for protection from the puppy taking the wrapping of. This morning I found her in a blood bath and she has eaten pieces of her tail. Her tail had to be amputated this morning. This is the fault of the Vet that didn't listen to my concern and a vet technician that shouldn't of put tape on a open wound. This is neglect!

They are excellent with your pet and truly cares about them. They are professional and always checks up the next day to make sure that your dog is feeling better, etc if they have had a procedure or just sick. There have been several times that my dog has had to get in because of being sick, etc., and they always get Harley in right away. Would highly recommend Sanford Animal Hospital
