I have been a patient here for over 15 years. The new front desk staff is, unfortunately, not up to standards. They appear more interested in talking amongst themselves and loudly ordering take out food for 20-25 minutes than in assisting patients. I scheduled a 15 minute appointment with the optician for 10:30am but I was still waiting at 11am. The desk staff did not let the optician know I was in the waiting room because they were focused on ordering food. I approached the desk after waiting quite a long time. I needed reschedule my appointment since I could not wait further and the optician still had not appeared, and the desk staff let me know I was not to interrupt her more important business of lunch.

Me and husband came together for our first visit. It was nice that we could print our paperwork and have it completed prior to the appointment. We saw Dr. Tem and were both very impressed with his caring style and how he explained the procedures. He was not pushy and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. The staff was courteous and helpful. We are so glad we found our new eye doctor.

Joanne Gronquist is an exquisite combination of humanity, hard science and concern for patients. Her prescriptions have been accurate and she will always make adjustments when necessary. In my case, she has helped out when frightening episodes of flashes and floaters accompanied by dizziness caused symptoms consistent with strokes. She used her knowledge to examine and photograph my eyes' blood vessels to determine whether blood clots or other indicators of cardiovascular health were present while explaining the significance of these and other tests. She is conservative in treatment: uncomfortable eye symptoms led another optometrist to blame them on age and prescribe various eye drops and other medications. Joanne found a lens which eliminated the symptoms permanently.

Had a great visit June 26th 2013. Staff was friendly and did not have a long wait. My eyeglass fitting was perfect and i was able to select from a large variety and get helpful feedback.
