At Seaside Pilates we teach and practice Classical Pilates, the original exercises and disciplines of Joseph Pilates, the system's founder. Classical Pilates will give you the most intense and rewarding workout of any Pilates System. You will have a invigorating workout that will focus your mind and challenge your body as you grow longer, leaner, stronger, and more flexible.
The Seaside Pilates studio is warm and inviting, with high ceilings and hardwood floors. We use only Gratz equipment, the finest in the Pilates Industry. We are located a block from Cardiff State Beach and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. We serve all of San Diego including Oceanside, Carlsbad, Leucadia, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Del Mar and Rancho Santa Fe.
Greg Norris, Owner, Lead Instructor at Seaside Pilates and Teacher Trainer with Power Pilates, was introduced to Pilates while earning his B.F.A. in Acting at the California Institute of the Arts. He quickly became fascinated with the system, continuing to study and practice after his graduation from Cal Arts.
After suffering a serious back injury, Greg turned to Pilates to heal and re-strengthen his back. Amazed at the results that Pilates provided for his spine and body, Greg decided that he wanted to give to others what he had received.
Greg received his certification through Power Pilates, in Los Angeles, California, studying with Shari Berkowitz at The Vertical Workshop.
In addition to Pilates, Greg enjoys an active life of swimming, surfing, snowboarding, martial arts, mountain biking and walking his dog, Manea.
