I have been to Seasons Salon and Day Spa multiple times before and have had a great experience. But this time was different, I am not sure if the management has changed or what. It wasn't very clean, it looked like some of the robes weren't clean so I wasn't confident I was wearing an actual clean robe. I had to search for towels and there looked like there was only one clean towel, the others were thrown around and unfolded so I didn't want to touch them. The bathroom in the changing room wasn't clean. I didn't think the employees were vey prepared for my massage. I came in to get a specific massage and didn't get what I had signed up for at all. I was really disappointed with my massage because my expectations were not met. For the price of what I was paying, I expected much higher quality and a cleaner environment. I will not ever go back again which is unfortunate because I really liked this place until now. I also personally feel that every massage business should have each customer fill out a paper beforehand to clearly state whether they want their masseuse to talk to them during their massage or not. I like to go get a massage and relax and not have to hold a conversation throughout my entire experience but didn't want to be rude and tell my masseuse I would rather lay here in silence and enjoy my massage. They also were not concerned about masks and I remember telling my friend who I was there with that I guess they don't require masks here. It was a very disappointing experience and definitely not worth what they are charging. I will for sure look for other places from now on when wanting to get a massage.
Thank you for choosing Seasons and taking the time to leave your experience with us. We sincerely apologize your service expectations were not met. We value you both as guests here at Seasons and are confident the issues you experienced are very simple to correct. It's important to communicate with your therapist. Filling out a paper stating you'd like a quite relaxing massage is equivalent to saying that when you're asked what you're looking for out of your experience today. Due to contact and trying to illuminate exposure Paperwork is filed out on the first appointment and there after we expect our team to personally ask each guest the questions and learn what you're looking for. Such as a belly lying massage, instead of a side lying massage while pregnant. Also towels are put away due to exposure and each guests kindly asks for a towel if they'd like to shower. (We provided a sign explaining). Unfortunately there was a bleach issue in the wash leaving a few of our robes somewhat tie die, due to the appearance of a lighter white splashed in a few spots. We're currently doing our best as a business with the demands and expectations. Wednesday evening we where shorter staffed and had an unexpected rush in the spa. We're extremely thankful and grateful for each opportunity to pamper someone. Again we do apologize for the inconvenience. We did acknowledge the side lying verse tummy lying at check out and compensated with a 10% off this visit and your next visit. Those are details we expect our guests to communicate with the therapist. Each pregnant woman has a different expectation and side lying is the most requested, comfortable, and safest modality. Majority of spas don't offer the belly lying bolsters. And unfortunately we only have one bolster as to another reason the side lying was set up before hand is there was two pregnancy at the same time, ( you and your friend) We do hope that we can resolve these issues and have you return again. Like we said we do value each guest. Its not rude to explain what you're looking for and expecting when you come in for your service. Reviews can be challenging sometimes and we do understand its easier to not talk to someone in person.
