I found myself in a situation where a borrowed Segway had gotten a broken kickstand while in my care. I found Segway OC through a Google search looking for the replacement part. I tried to order online, but received an error code, so I called directly and spoke with Dick. He listened to my woes, confirmed the part needed, took payment over the phone, and sent via UPS by the end of the day. The part arrived with installation instructions, and we were able to repair and return to lender, good as new. Thanks for saving us!

I used to ride segways when I came to california, the last time I took a tour on one in Newport beach,, my segway caught a tire on a cement bech on the boardwalk and flipped me over breaking my elbow off. My teeth were bleeding and I didnt know my elbow was broken because I could move it. A woman from the crowd ran into a restaurant and got a bag of ice for me. The tour guide did nothing and took the segway back to his location which was close by. I sat there with the bag of ice while my friend got the car and we drove back to Arizona with my arm on ice still not knowing till we got there that it had broken the elbow off. The operation was 20,000. dollars and when I contacted the segway tour company they did nothing and tried to not answer anything and took no resposposibility.

Our experience was great when visiting in person and on the phone. Staff is very professional and explained some very important features plus things to do and NOT do. They even brought to our attention that knock-offs (cheaper products) could catch on fire. Strange too since we actually saw the warning on the news last night about them catching on fire. Proper care and good products can avoid that issue. Good to know that they back up their product and are only a phone call away. As with any product the customer has some responsibility to use it properly and safely. Enjoy!
