I've had several great experiences at Serenity. This past one was inconsistent with previous trips though. It was clear that there was significant miscommunication / lack of familarity between dentist and team members. I'm not sure if this was due to team members being new with insufficient training or another cause. I was disappointed by a few things (1) the appt took 2 hours when I was told to expect 1 hour, (2) I had to retake x-rays that weren't captured correctly / clearly the first time, (3) several tools were dropped - I believe they replaced each time so they were clean but gave me less confidence with someone taking a pick to my teeth, (4) dental assistant was inputting data incorrectly into their system prompting a disagreement and tension between them with me literally in the middle of it all. Overall the team had palpable tension which made their working relationship a bit uneasy, which made me feel very uneasy!

I'd appreciate them taking training more seriously on both tactical things like taking x-rays and managing tools / coordination and on more customer experience focused areas like team communication, prompt service (e.g., knowing very well how their software systems work)

I had a fantastic experience. My cleaning was effective, fast, and got me out before the hour. I was able to get back to my baby in time. I can't thank you enough and its great to have some clean teeth again.

Every time i go see Dr. Shahabi i walk in with a smile and leave with a bigger smile. From staff to the Dr, they are GREAT!!!! I commute for over an 1 half to see her and she is well worth the traffic. 5+ stars

I give 5 stars to everybody from the front office who never fails to be courteous and acknowledges the client the moment you walk in. I don't have to worry about my co pays or insurance coverage since it's mostly accurate. I don't have to worry that Annie is no longer there. 6 stars for Dr. Shahabi for always being sweet and always makes me feel like I'm her only patient in the world. I heart you Doc! I also want to give kudos to Cece. Whom I enjoyed exchanging our Cancun experiences in a short span of time while she was taking my scans. My only somewhat unpleasant experience was the dental assistant who has zero customer service. I asked her how long she has been with Dr. Shahabi and told her I'm sure she liked it there. Her response was a chilly " I don't discuss these things, it's personal." I felt like I was in the morgue for a second as I lay there while she took X Rays. its not like I asked if she voted for Hillary or Trump for it to be personal. She could have faked it and lied to her response.

I'm very happy with all aspects of Sheila Shahabi's Dental Spa. From the receptionist to the dental technicians and Dr Shahabi herself, all were efficient, friendly and of high professional standard. I was diagnosed with a form of gum disease that had been missed by my (former) regular dentist, and am very grateful by the calm, solution-oriented manner in which all was handled. I plan to go there again. It is quite pricey, but if you can insurance cover for part of all of the final bill, then go!! A bonus was meeting Dr Shahabi's beautiful dog, Bentley, who was dressed as an Easter Bunny! Made going to the dentist a surprisingly feel-good experience.
