You couldn't give a direct diagnosis. Told me it was possibly the lifter arms. Turns out, the timing chain guide was broken. Told me get a new motor, I'm driving it daily. Thanks for nothing but the $123 wasted. I'll never spend money there or refer anyone.

My daughter was in an accident. I was out of town at the time. I sent the car to Shifflet 's. They evaluated the damage and the cost to repair. The car was repaired and is back on the road. Shifflet's kept me informed the entire time answering all my questions (I had a million questions). I've used Shifflet's for many years... they have always earned my trust.

I have used Shifflet's for a number of years, but 2 months ago today, I took my 2000 Silverado in to have the A/C fixed, tires rotated, and speed sensors cleaned on my brakes. Up until recently, I have not driven the truck much, and the sensors get corroded up, and cause the anti-locks to kick in at low speeds. I've had to have these cleaned before, for the same reason. Bobby Laymen did it last time, which was 2008. No problems since then until this spring. When I talked to Charlie about it at Shifflets, he had NO CLUE what I was talking about. I also informed him, that last summer Shifflets had worked on my A/C, and it only lasted about 2 weeks before it quit again, so I know it has a leak somewhere. So, here I am 2 months to the day, from when I took the truck in (4/13/2015), and the anti locks are kicking the brake peddle back at me again, and I have NO A/C again. Charlie told me they could not find a leak. So I guess you might say, I spent 423.00 for a tire rotation. Mike Shifflet was no where around, as I asked for him both dropping the truck off, and picking it up. Charlie was VERY RUDE, and acted very ungrateful to have the work come into the shop. Needless to say, I WILL NOT BE BACK !

I highly recommend Shifflet Auto Care.

I have been taking my cars to Shifflet's for over seven years. I can say with confidence Shifflet is the most competent mechanic I have ever known. He and his crew are mechanics and not just parts changers. They take the time to find the problem and just as importantly, take the time to explain the problem. They are not offended when you ask about the cost of the repairs. Shifflet has even shown me how to make basic repairs myself as to help me save some money. They look after their customers. I recently purchased a used car from a local dealership. Right after the purchase a problem developed. The dealership said the car was as-is. I asked Shifflet to talk with the dealership and explain why it was "warrentee" issue. The Dealership (to their credit) and their mechanic were impressed with Shifflet and they fixed the problem. I saved thousands of dollars because of Shifflet's expertise and professionalism. The only other thing I can say as a recommendation is that I send my daughters cars to Shifflet.

It's important to find a good, honest, and friendly auto care facility that you can depend on. Shifflet is that facility for me. They're topnotch, with excellent customer service.
