The clinic was clean and smelled nice. Everyone I interacted with was fantastic! Marsha was very friendly and courteous on the phone and in person. Cheyenne was very sweet and gentle with my older dog and I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Addante. She is the best veterinarian I know and she will always be my pet’s primary care doctor!
We had never visited Shoal Creek before, but my dog needed an emergency ultrasound. Angie quickly worked to get her scheduled and my dog, Gretta, was in that same morning. Dr Addante walked us through the results and really took the time to talk through my dogs symptoms and the timeline. We now have a treatment plan and she is on the mend. Couldn’t be happier!
I have been a life long pet parent and have been a very happy patron of Shoal Creek for as long as I have lived in Athens. (16 Yrs)They have been there for emergencies, very difficult diagnosis, celebrations and sad endings. The office is clean & bright. All of the staff, from reception to D.V.M are very concerned about pet health and do Not rush appointments. They are simply the Best!!
We have always received the most effective and caring treatment for our cats - And we have seven! Three of them are feral -- The doctor and his assistants are awesome giving us reliable advice. I do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in search of care for their pets.
It's always a pleasure to take our animals to the clinic. Everyone is cheerful and welcoming. Especially appreciate Dr. Elder "baby talking" our dog. That may sound facetious, but we think it's especially important to extend kindness to our animal companions.
My dog is not really the biggest fan of going to the vet, and very scared of the process as a whole. The patience that the staff has with him is phenomenal. He will growl, bark and have accidents—yet that still show him love and are very welcoming to see him, even though I’m sure 90% of dogs are much easier to work with. Very appreciative of the staffs patience!
