Despite the Covid Craziness, this office is well organized and efficiently run. It is equally clear they take Covid protocols seriously, and as a patient with an auto-immune disorder, I appreciate that. Yes, some delay in waiting for the physician (where doesn't that happen?!), but overall they respect your time, and that matters to me. The staff are professional and efficient.
Ok, in the waiting room, they pump in HG-TV. If home improvement is your thing, you won't mind. I was just glad it was not MSM blather. Better HGTV than MSM. The waiting room has chairs in pairs, with distance between the pairs.
The doctor was professional. Not very chatty, but that is Ok. She was thorough and efficient.
I am an agnostic on the optometry side. Eyeglasses are a commodity now. Prices for frames, lenses and coatings have declined over time (not counting current supply chain issues). For eyeglasses, the name of the game is to shop around. If SJ Eye wants to charge a premium, they need to clearly state what benefits do I get that are unique to SJ Eye. Put more simply, why are you better than For Eyes right down Lenola Road? I did not get any information telling me why SJ Eye optometry is superior.
