WARNING: If they tell you over the phone that they take your insurance, it means absolutely nothing.
The Facts: On Thursday, 14th Nov at 2:09 pm I called to make an appointment with Dr. Wesley. Upon hearing which insurance I carried, I was informed that Dr. Wesley did not accept my coverage. At which point I was sold another doctor, Dr. Jeanette Black, who I was assured DID take my insurance. So I made an appointment for the following Monday, giving full details of my insurance i.e I was asked for and provided the ID#, the Group#, and Plan Type. I also provided credit card details. The call took 4 minutes and 51 seconds.
Turning up for my appointment, I handed over my insurance card and was immediately informed that they didn't take my insurance after all. No worthwhile explanation was provided of why the phone person had gone through all my details and made an appointment for me. And that was that. I had not only had an hour of my time wasted going to their offices, I had also delayed getting necessary treatment because, duh, I thought I was dealing with competent people.
Medical treatment is built on competent back-office and associated paperwork. People are going to prescribe drugs and perform procedures based on others getting sometimes complex admin right. This place can't even handle the basics. Think about that.
On the plus side, if you want your time wasted, this is a great place.
