I'm continually surprised that a 1-man practice can offer such comprehensive and convenient care, such as in-house treatments and diagnostics which save customers time & money. The excellence of the care is of course the main reason I keep coming back. Whether it's been good news or bad re my cat's health, I've felt great confidence that I'm getting a truly accurate diagnosis, and the best recommendations for care. Dr Green seems to keep up on the latest research, and has probably saved me a ton of money & agony over the last few years by knowing how to treat my newly-diabetic cat with diet rather than getting him insulin-dependent. Every staff member is friendly, helpful, and gentle to the animals. And -- this is just a my perception -- but I've been to vet practices that feel very dog-centric, like the vets and staff are mainly dog lovers and cats are just furry extras to them. I love dogs too but I do think cats get better care when they're seen as (if you'll excuse the expression) real people by the caregivers, and this practice definitely does give that feeling.
Dr. Greene is responsive, decisive and practical in his care. He had made dealing with a few difficult issues a bit easier for us. Nurse Bobbie provides excellent support to buttress Dr. Greene's advice.
I have been seeing Dr. Greene for over 20 years with my two GSDs, and always been very pleased. But yesterday, he outdid himself: not only did he respond to my email inquiry while he was on vacation, he also has staffed his office with a replacement vet that was as caring as he is (and as good!)
