My massage therapist was switched without consulting with me first. When I went in, the receptionist told another worker that I was there for a pedicure. I was told to sit in the quiet room. I was not given a robe or asked to change. When the massage therapist showed up late to get me, we lost even more time because of this. I am not a regular of the masseuse I picked, but I had either been to her before or she was recommended to me, as the name just stuck out to me when booking. The person they put me with talked the entire time, making it completely unrelaxing. I did not receive a full body massage. She "focused" on my neck and shoulders while I was laying face up. She also massaged my glutes, but removed the sheet to do so, which I found completely unprofessional. She never asked if their were any areas she should avoid. The rest of my massage was a swift rub up and down two or three times on my back, arms, and legs. I complained to the front desk, who was friendly and provided a 15% discount. I was very uncomfortable complaining and trying to see the best in it. However, I woke up in more pain in my neck the next day than I had before, and the more I reflect on the experience, the more I realized it was a complete waste of money and time, and I should not have left without a full refund.
The only reason I gave this a 2 is because my pedicure was great.
I went to Woodhouse for a specific, relaxing experience. My experience was the exact opposite.
