I specifically asked for my costs before I had anything done and ended up having to pay much more than expected. I also could not get the type of fillings my dental insurance would pay for so this dentist was a waste of my time and my money.
Founders Park Dentistry replied:
Connie, we hate that we always get stuck in the middle of insurance and the patient. Composite filling are the standard today. Most insurances today do pay for composite fillings. Unfortunately yours does not. I would rate your plan as a substandard plan.How that is supposed to be our fault, I'm not sure. Again with the insurance. We base our treatment plan estimates by the breakdown of benefits we receive from your insurance company. That is why it is an estimate and not actual quote. Your insurance did not pay as much as they said they would.
