I was incredibly appreciative of the care I received. It has been about 10 years since I’ve been to the dentist because I had a traumatic experience after having my wisdom teeth extracted. So I haven’t been able to bring myself back to a dentist in years. I’ve been to this dental office twice now. The first was for a cleaning and to assess the health of my teeth. They found a couple cavities that needed to be fixed. So this last visit was to do just that. I had pretty extreme anxiety off and on throughout the visit and both the dentist and the dental hygienist were incredible. They were both so compassionate, warm, and slow with me. They were able to adjust to make the process doable. They didn’t skip a beat with my anxiety.
While this review is for the adult care I received, I also highly recommend them for children as well. My 3yr old has been twice and hasn’t had any problems in letting the dental hygienist clean his teeth. He feels so cool wearing the cleaning glasses and likes the music that they play. And the toy at the end is always a bonus.

We moved a year ago and changed dentists to Smile for the Future. The staff is always friendly, very quick with their responses, and always make my children feel comfortable during their dental care. The hygienists are excellent and explain every step to my young children to avoid them having NY nervousness. The facility is also very clean and welcoming.

Sam the hygienist and Dr. Maggie were absolutely amazing with son. He is 3 and on the autism spectrum and they made him feel super happy and comfortable. He did awesome , especially for this being our first visit ! They are not pushy with treatment and are super focused on prevention. See you in November!

The appointments with Smiles for the Future are always wonderful. They are kind and gentle with my kids. The entire appoint runs very smoothly. The only minor annoyance is the digital paperwork. We have to fill in the same info EVERY visit, and sometimes we’re filling in the same info over and over within the same form. I wish they could set up accounts to save the information for us like other doctors offices do.

We always appreciate feedback from our patients. It helps us to make changes to streamline our work flows. Prior to COVID we were still using paper forms which were tedious. During COVID we took the paperless plunge and went digital. We actually redesigned many of our forms to be less cumbersome . Unfortunately some information, though redundant , is still required. More times than not, people move, divorce, change jobs or get new insurance since the last visit. We rely on updated information to keep our records accurate. We have found that medical practice software seem to be more advanced than dental software but we are still hopeful that in the near future a dental software will become available that offers that same convenience.

They are extremely bad with communication. They are chronically 15-20 minutes late for every dental appointment. Not ortho they are always on time. Also, good luck getting an appointment in a month or two or changing and appointment and getting in restively quickly. My daughter used to go there until they told me it would take her three months to get in to have a cavity filled because they had no openings from July to October. Needless to say she now goes to my dentist and I was able to get her in as a rush before she went to college.

We were saddened to learn of this experience and wished that you would have left your name and phone number so that we could discuss it directly. We respect everyone's time and try our very best to communicate especially in the case of running late. Some children are afraid at the dentist and we do not rush them through the cleaning. This can unfortunately make us run a little late time to time. Your recent appointment was also booked in the summer which is our busiest time of year as most families like to come when school is out. We could always offer you less peak times to avoid the chance of running later than expected. It is true, appointments are typically booked 6 months in advance making last minute rescheduling tough at times as we then rely on a cancellations to offer. In the end, there are only so many hours in the day and summer is a very very popular time to schedule making it less flexible. Again we apologize and hope that you will allow us to continue to care for your family in the future. Smiles has been in private practice for over 50 years, we simply all love what we do and it shows where it counts the most; in the gentle care that we provide to our patients each day.
