While seeking a second opinion regarding treatment and rehabilitation advice for our older K-9 family member, Somers Animal Hospital was recommended by a friend. We visited with Dr. Walker and his staff. They were very pleasant and took time to evaluate our dog's condition and history. After considering all the facts, the Dr. explained treatment and rehabilitation options in detail. His recommendations were tailored to improve and support our dogs quality of life. A bit pricey. However, the care and concern are genuine. They care for my dog and do and recommend everything for his well being. Quick to send the claim form to the insurance company. They take time with you and explain and answer all questions.

Doctors are great. Front desk staff is rude and unhelpful though, making interactions difficult. They act as if you are a burden for any questions and overall unfriendly.

Torch had an oral procedure and teeth cleaning by Dr. Walker.

As always, the receptionists were welcoming and efficient. The process was explained and I had options that would make me comfortable for Torch's outcome. After the procedure, Dr. Walker called me to explain the procedure, what he found and follow-up care.

I was called when Torch was ready to be picked up. When I arrived, I was instructed on his home care and as promised, the next day I received a call to see how Torch was doing.

Dr. Walker has been caring for my pets for many years, and I feel confident they have received the best treatment possible. This was no exception.
