i have been going to South Beach Dental for newarly a year now on the recommendation of a friend since I have sensitive teeth and gums, and all of my experiences with Mehrnegar have been fantastic. However, Peter was assigned to me on this day and I'm not sure if he was having a bad day but was extremely rude to me. I was trying as best I could to follow his instructions, yet he kept jamming the suction tube in my throat, causing my mouth the close. He paused for a moment and brusquely asked me if I was okay; I still had all the instruments in my mouth and couldn't speak. He was halfway done and I felt uncomfortable so I said "Its okay, just please finish." After this statement, he began to get rougher with the tools, which made me scared. He made some very off-color comments to me as he was hurrying through the job, such as "Great, NOW after you say something you START opening your mouth wider!!!" and "Don't worry, you will ABSOLUTELY BE WORKING WITH ANOTHER HYGENIST the next time you come in here." His attitude, in addition to his rough work on my mouth and me not being able to say anything was literally the worst dental experience I've ever had. I felt reluctant to write this because I understand we all have bad days and I'm not sure what I did wrong in this situation but I was very scared. I spoke with my DDS who is kind and requested another appointment with the original hygenist I had been seeing. However, after thinking about this, I'm scared to come back in because Peter was extremely angry. I am not sure what to do here.
