We were seeing dr. Hunt, and were not told she would not be the one doing our girl’s spay surgery. She was the only reason we kept coming here-we loved her. We were not told anything about the procedure, did not have a chance to speak with a veterinarian, and they rushed us to sign the paperwork without letting us read it fully. We were also not provided with a copy of anything other than her discharge instructions. Upon calling to tell us the time to pick her up, no description was given to us of how she did. It was a 45 second phone call. Additionally, they provided a “complimentary” nail trim. Her nails had just been trimmed so they didn’t need to be done, and they were cut down to the quick and very jagged, so we can’t even soften them. They don’t seem to be very comfortable for her like that. They repeatedly bragged about how quickly the vet could do the surgery, which just tells me that it’s going to be rushed and I worry for my dog. I’m going to assume that is the reason her stitches are not straight and look cinched together more than they should. The way they pulled her into the room before she saw us was unkind. Overall we were very upset with this visit, and genuinely do not want to make our girl step foot in there again.
