Our 13 year old cat was very sick. We went to 2 other Vet Hospitals and we were turned away with no referrals or concern for our cat at all. We were finally referred to SS Veterinary Hospital and they have been more than excellent!! Very caring, very quick to help us and the staff is wonderful!! We can't thank you all enough!

We live in Everett and had trouble finding a vet with an opening last Saturday. So we're very thankful that you had capacity to operate on our cat, Keola. Front desk crew are very kind and attentive and helpful to pet owners, and obviously love animals. Your facility is clean and comfortable, with a warm relaxed vibe, good for ailing pets and anxious owners. The dark haired vet who discussed the problem and procedure gave us a thorough and honest review of what to expect, and the next day, an account of the procedure and follow up home treatment. We feel our cat was in good hands and is recovering nicely from a very serious operation. However, the only problem we found was that when we called at night immediately following the operation, and again the next morning for an update, we were not informed that there had been a complication during surgery, requiring more time. And we were not told because of that, the charges were one-third more than the estimate given, a substantial amount since the estimate was in four figures. In fact, even the dark haired vet, talking to us when we came to get Keola, was surprised we had not been told. He asked us twice if we had been told, and seemed embarrassed to have to deliver that news. So, we really do appreciate your work, but please remember to inform pet owners before they arrive to pick up their pet if charges are higher than the estimate. Even though we knew the operation would be expensive, the amount of the increase was a shock to my wife and to me. The operation was terrific, but keep owners informed! Thank you,
Cliff Perry

Always a joy to interact with staff at South Seattle Veterinary Hospital. They do a wonderful job of taking care of my dog when he’s in crisis and patiently take the time to walk me through procedures when I feel anxious and have a lot of questions.

Only cared about money, doctor was incredibly rude and dismissive . didn’t care about my questions or concerns. wouldn’t waste your time here. they don’t care. the receptionist was however incredibly nice and more helpful then the doctor himself. paid 600$ for no help left with more fear and anxiety then i came in with

The visit went well, the only thing we didn't like was not being able to go back with our pet.
The assistant/nurse who brought our pet out and went over the visit was very pleasant and professional and gave a reasonable response when we voiced our concerns.

I didn't understand why they took my dog in the back and never brought him back out until his meds were ready.

Very unfortunate. It was assumed my dog ate some drugs which was impossible. We were sent home with some meds and ended up having to go to another emergency vet the next morning where she was diagnosed with a joint disease.

It was a nice clean facility but it appeared they were busier than the front office staff could handle. They need more help!

Excellent care for Odin. I only wish there was a payment plan for such expensive Surgeries.
