I just recently moved here from Utah so this is my first visit to South Shores.
The staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable enough.
The one thing that put me off was that after I was taken into an exam room the vet tech wanted to take my dog into the back to have the vet do the exam without me present.
I found this to be unacceptable. I haven't even met this vet. Part of veterinary service has to do with a relationship between me and the vet. I need to know I can trust their decision and that they will listen to my concerns and ideas.
They did honor my request to have the vet do the exam in the exam room with me present, however it seemed a bit strained.
Since I am a new client with 8 dogs in my house hold, I would think I would be a valuable client and they would want to do everything they could to keep me as a client.
I never got the feeling that they cared about me and my dog in the way that would gain my trust.
Maybe that's just me?
I also thought their prices were a bit high but maybe that's the difference between Utah and Nevada?
