So the sauna and steam room were not working and the pool is not heated and was too cold to get in. We were not notified of this prior to our visit as we would not have gone If we knew this. The front desk looked in the system and said the owner booked our appointments and that the box was checked that she notified us of the broken facilities, which she did not. We booked 2 appointments, one at 12 and one at 1:30pm. Our appointment times were not confirmed when we checked in. We waited until 1:50pm to ask why our second appointment was late and they said it was at 2, not 1:30. We are sure we booked right after each other as we had a long drive home that day and we had the times written in our calendar. When we used the only amenity in the spa that was working, the hot tub, it was very apparent that the hot tub was dilapidated- the bottom was peeling and uneven, there was gray/brown stuff crusted on the top of the sides. And when we grabbed a towel from the pool area, there was dry blood on the towel. You could tell it had been washed and the blood did not come out and they put it out for someone to use. You are supposed to go to a spa to relax and this was the opposite. When we notified the front desk and the director of events at the spa but they said there was nothing they were authorized to do but that the manager could call us later. For the $125 and $175 we spent on messages there, we were very dissatisfied and felt unclean when leaving the spa. I would recommend you go somewhere else for your spa services. I will not be returning.
