My 7 month old puppy got spayed yesterday, after having her originally scheduled appointment in December postponed when she decided to get a stomach bug. Yesterday, despite the snow storm, the staff at SAH were there and ready to go forward with surgery as planned. I hate handing off my reactive, fearful puppy and not being able to be with her every step of the way, but the folks at SAH take such good care with her that it puts me so much at ease. I received a call from the vet before she went in for surgery letting me know that everything looked good and she was ready to go in. I got another call after the procedure updating me on how it went and how she was doing in recovery. The communication is really second to none here! They clearly outlined expectations, discharge instructions, and answered all my questions. Everyone I have encountered is so kind to both the humans and the animals, they are professional with top-notch communication, and I have so much confidence in everyone at SAH to take care of my nervous pup and do everything they can to make her (and me) more comfortable.
