We were new clients/new patient. I am unsure as to why we were not scheduled to see a veterinarian, and instead were scheduled as a "take back." First, as stated above, we have never been here before. A relationship with a vet needs to be established. Second, Titus is a puppy, receiving vaccines, who has never been here before or seen by any of the staff, let alone a veterinarian, so why was he not scheduled as an exam? Why is that not a given for a new client/patient, who is also a puppy? Thirdly, the fact that there were options of a vet visit versus a "take back" were never discussed when this appointment was scheduled.

I was a licensed vet tech for 11 years. I've worked in many practices across the country. I was blown away that Titus was not given an exam by a vet. I was also unimpressed with the bedside manner of anyone that I came in contact with. Not know that I had worked in the profession, there was no discussion of what was going to happen with Titus, where the vaccine would be given, the fact that he may be a little sore after the fact, etc.

We will not be returning.

My cat was well taken care of. The procedure to remove a cyst was handled professionally. Also, I noticed the suture job was excellent. I will continue to bring my pets to Shadowridge Vet Hospital.
