Thank you for taking the time to review us. Yes we do charge for diagnostic services the same as your doctor does. Most shops do. The ones who use the method you have wished for simply roll that expense into the repairs. Due to the complexity of todays cars diagnostic services are a large part of our business and require expertise and special equipment. It is not possible to provide these services for free and remain in business for long. The diagnostician still must be paid. They do not work for free I'm afraid. I see from our notes on your return visit that we did address the white smoke problem and did confirm that it was not related to the work we did. In fact we were not able to confirm that there was any smoke at that time. If you continue to have problems or ever feel that there is a problem with our work you are free to return for a free evaluation. Our work is guaranteed. Thank you for your business.
