I moved out of town and started using a different vet only because of proximity. Dr Lattig's sweet and caring nature brought me back. It was time to bring in my 3 dogs for vaccine updates, but unfortunately the only appt available was with Dr Johnson. I had him check my little girl's eye which had been bothering her. He shrugged it off as allergies. The next day it was worse and came to see Dr Lattig. It was a very serious corneal ulcer! Shocked! She ended up on antibiotics to fix her eye but her general health kept declining. I called in for an emergency appointment w/Dr Johnson and bloodwork showed she was in severe kidney failure! Shocked again! He offered me no resolve except euthanasia. After looking back I've found that he should've offers my 2 yr old pup IV fluids or even brought another vet in for a second consult. I feel like her life ended prematurely and without me being offered full disclosure of all options plus a misdiagnoses of her original eye infection. One more thing, when we brought her in for vaccines she had lost weight, he vaccinated her anyway. NOW I know he should've ran bloodwork before injecting her with toxic vaccines. I didn't know what I know now, all at the expense of my sweet Izzy's life. I love Dr Lattig, but I will not be able to let Dr Johnson see my pets again.
