I have been taking my dog to this vet because it was convenient and close to my house for 7 years. In the beginning of March by 7 year old lab became ill. I called to see what they recommend I do. With Covid just starting I was told they couldn’t even advise me anything other then to call the emergency vet. I was very understanding with the virus and the idea that vets needed to adjust and change their practices.
After calling other animal hospitals, it was discovered my girl needed surgery. I went to the emergency vet and they reassured me that my family vet would help us the next day. Of course being extremely upset I called very first thing in the morning. Staples told me they had a vet only working half the day and unable to help us. They called me a irresponsible pet owner if I left her even one more day. But they WOULDNT HELP ME!
Other pet hospitals I called wouldn’t except new patients due to the virus. I felt trapped and devastated that something might happen to my dog. I was told she would die within a few days.
Thank goodness we finally found someone to help...and it sure wasn't Staples. They abandoned me and did NOTHING to help. I will never ever return. And I will be sure to pass along my experience with anyone in hopes they don’t have to go through what we went through
