I get excellent service at Stem. My hair stylist is phenomenal. I have been going here for years. One thing that is very frustrating is a lack of itemized receipt, or at least a list of items purchased at the register. I never know where my charges are coming from, and if the total is higher than anticipated it is nice to know why. I think that is something you owe your customers. Making them ask the price of each individual item makes people feel uncomfortable.
