I had a different hygenist than my usual one and my experience wasn’t a good one.
First, there was confusion about the service I was there to receive, even tho I had spoken to Helen just two days prior to make appointments for the entire year.
When I tried to explain to the hygenist that I was only there to get a cleaning, she argued with me that I was there to get exams and X-rays as well because she had my chart in front of her.
We actually went back and forth for several minutes and finally I suggested we go speak with Helen to clear things up.
But the exchange itself surprised me and was very off-putting.
Arguing aggressively with a patient isn’t my idea of good customer service.
Then to top it off, the cleaning she gave me was probably the worse I’ve ever had and I’ve been coming to APODP for more than 20 years.
Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience yesterday.
