When I initially came to the clinic on the 08/15/17, the only pain issue I had was a right shoulder pain which seemed like a pinched nerve. Five visits later and ~$500 out of pocket costs, not only do I still have the shoulder pain, but I also now have lower back pain and some kind of damage to my ribs.
On the 4th visit on 08/28/17 my lower back was adjusted which caused shooting pain in my ribs. The response was "ice it". The 5th visit on 08/30/17 nothing could be done with my back because of the still sore ribs. The response once again was "ice it".
In summary... 5 visits, ~$500 out of pocket, more pain than I came there with originally.
If this was a retail business I'd definitely ask for my money back. Now I have to pay more out of pocket costs to see my doctor to find out what damage was done to my ribs and the money I just threw away would come in handy for that.
It's unfortunate, Sean, that you did not receive immediate relief with our care and worse yet an increase in discomfort. It is not unusual to experience a condition getting worse before it gets better for various reasons, yet this disturbs us still. Even with our doctors taking the utmost care and employing the lowest risk procedures, the body does not always react to the procedure as planned. As per the doctor's instructions, icing will help reduce inflammation and help with the healing process. We wish you the best in health and in life.
