The method in which you notified your members of the closing was not handled well. There are a lot of dissatisfied members.

Your gym was decent. I mainly took cycling classes and there were definitely a couple who had no business teaching the class. But that's a non-issue now.

The last point is that you are now closed and yet in your email you write: "Any member who brings someone in who signs up for a monthly membership will receive a $10 credit to their account." Obviously not paying attention to details.

I purchased a groupon for a month of unlimited classes, and redeemed it on 5/18/15. I was not told STROGA would be closing until after I was in the class, which means I will not get to use more than half of the value of the pass I purchased. When I asked the front desk why they would let me redeem a pass I would not get to fully use they informed me they had been asked not to tell customers STROGA was closing. I am incredibly disappointed in this customer service, and the poor business ethic practiced by STROGA preceding their closing. I would like to be compensated for half the value of the pass I purchased, $27.50 immediately.

Good variety of classes that will make you work hard. The only improvements I would make are the spin instructors vary in their skills and not all are the best. Also, David is an awesome group strength teacher and I wish he had more classes!

I signed up for a beginner's kickboxing class and I was really excited! I show up and the first thing the teacher says to me ( out of the box) is " a lot of folks can't make it through this class." I said I would be fine, but noticed that everyone in the class was advanced. I asked if this was supposed to be a beginner class and he said yeah, but that his regulars were there. I was made to feel uncomfortable and certainly not encouraged. I left after half an hour and never came back. I still had 19 classes and have not stepped foot in Stroga again.

I have been going to Stroga for about 4 years (?). It is one of 4 yoga studios I belong to. As far as space, it is the most beautiful and is never crowded. However, this is not the place for yoga enthusiasts. The current teachers are ok but nothing special. I miss teachers like Lina, Mimi and others who really focused on pushing me. There are no advanced classes although I appreciate they have a class for arm balances. I have also enjoyed other classes like Israeli Self Defense (Robert Hough teaches) and Budokon (martial arts yoga) which stopped a few years back. Overall, it is good catch all studio which offers lots of different fitness classes, including Tango. After 4 years, you think they would fix the crumbling wall in the locker room which makes the carpet wet after a rain.

Jeffery is the best instructor ever. Great music too.

I am an enormous fan of Stroga. The facilities are charming and the instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and dedicated. I really appreciate the variety of class types, and the frequency of classes every day. I do find the membership fee a bit expensive, seeing as the monthly fees are similar to those of a gym, which would on top of classes include a locker room and showers, with a steam room or sauna. I would be more inclined to get a full or annual membership if it was less expensive.
