The first time I took my car there was great but for some reason I took my car there the second time the service was not that great . The paper work took a while for them to email me with and the work they did to it. I am having to take it back to them for the same reason Rattling noise that it is still making even after the TECH road with me and heard it the noise also not happy

I have been going to Sun Auto Service since day 1 of buying my truck, 6 years. I trusted their service and advice on maintenance for my vehicle. I had great experiences up until now. The last couple oil changes I have felt them wanting to push unnecessary maintenance or repairs. I understand there are recommendations based on mileage, but also understand if my vehicle doesn’t present a problem that needs the service at that exact mileage don’t push it on me. Examples being, on one oil change it was recommended to have my brake fluid replaced based on mileage and it being dirty and could be unsafe. So with the trust I had in them, I had it replaced. This recent oil change had many recommendations based on mileage including brake fluid being replaced. (Which was recently done) $1000 worth of recommendations. I asked if these were just items based on mileage or was there an issue with them? Answer was both, the power steering line had a leak and the fluid was dirty. That was the main issue. Also, suspension needed work. There was not a good answer on why the brake fluid was needing replaced when I told him I just had that done at their shop. I ended up not doing any of their recommendations and just got the oil change. So I had a buddy that works on vehicles give me a second opinion on the power steering and suspension and the other items on their list of recommendations. There was not a leak in the line and it didn’t even look like they opened the power steering cap to see the fluid. Another time a while back, I was told I needed new brakes. I took it to the dealership for a second opinion and they said the brakes where fine and did not need replacing. So with all that said. I have lost trust in using them. Maybe they went through management change and that can explain why things are different?

I have used Sun Auto for oil changes because of the free tire rotation. They failed to rotate them this visit.

Tire rotations are an included portion of the oil change; however, occasionally our ASE Certified technicians may determine that a tire rotation may be unnecessary due to age, wear, and/or mileage of the tires. We apologize that omitting the tire rotation subject was not discussed with you prior to your departure from our service center. If you like, you are welcome to return so that we may complete your request, at any time
