Not only is Sutra the best salon in town...it's also the prettiest..with it's pops of pink! Babs & Carlos and their well trained team do an amazing job of making your visit enjoyable...from the warm welcome to the nourishing complimentary hand treatment to a fabulous cut/color/style. It truly is a salon "experience" to be savored!

Great cut! Get compliments in the community on the style and highlights. The salon is bright, clean and modern. Staff is pleasant, entertaining and accommodating. All around pampered and excellent experience!

Jaclyn is the best! She's always so quick, super attentive and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I love my hair. She is very detail-oriented, welcoming and friendly. So glad I found her!!

Until this visit I have always left Sutra happy. I have had the same stylist before and was very satisfied. This time I left with the hair color not correct. Someone else started washing my hair and I knew there was a problem when she stopped and showed my stylist my roots. The stylist told the receptionist that was washing my hair to put a toner on it. After Jackie took over the hair washing and rubbing in toner she barely washed it out. I actually felt as my hair had really not been washed properly. She never said a word to me about it. I asked Isabella why I had to have a toner and she said Jackie put color to close to the roots. The whole 2 and 1/2 hours I was there Jackie didn't speak 10 words to me. She looked either sick or hung over (really rough looking)
and I could tell she didn't want to be there. She was so rough with my hair that it hurt when she combed it out While cutting my hair her thumb nail jabbed me between my eye and eyebrow and I came home with a black eye, a sore on my neck and a huge disappointment with the hair color. It was supposed to have been partial foils but it was a solid color in front and no highlights in the back. On top of that when I went to check out I was told I owed $25 for the toner because of a mistake Jackie had made. Jackie told me I could come back on Tuesday to fix it but who wants to leave with their hair looking bad after paying over $100 and spent another 2 1/2 hours so soon to repair their hair again so soon. I think that knowing she could have done better and the fact that she didn't even talk at all to me made it very unacceptable and I feel that if she knew that she wasn't up to the job she should have cancelled. I have been going to Sutra for over 8 years and have always had excellent service until this visit. There is not another stylist in town better than Babs and I can't understand how she let Jackie work there in the condition she was in. I would recommend Babs to anyone. I should have known better than to stay after 5 minutes in the chair with Jackie and just have to put the loss of time and money to a learning experience

Baps always does exactly what I need, she does the best haircut I have ever had, I have had haircuts all over the world. Her salon is best and most professional in Jacksonville, everyone that works there is so professional and courteous, you will love how your hair looks.

Another excellent experience at Sutra with owner, Babs. Always professional ,on time, incredibly knowledgeable and visionary regarding both color and cut. Always concerned with my satisfaction with the end result and incorporates my desires. Educates on styling technique. Highly recommend!

As a walk in customer, I was greeted warmly and promptly. My questions were expertly and honestly answered and I was paired with a stylist named Dena. From start to finish, the treatment I received and the styling outcome were top notch! Even the pricing was surprisingly reasonable. I have definitely found my new salon home!
