I always enjoy my visits at Southwood Drive. Everyone is so friendly, we are pretty much on a first name basis there. That is our Home away from Home. LOL I know all my dogs are in the best of hands when they are there. And bless their hearts Dr Penn and Dr Ashburn probably expect my after hours and weekend calls and they are always friendly on the phone. They call me back quickly and make me feel so much better after talking to them. Thanks for all you guys do for us.
As a fill in Doctor Ward was very affable and appeared to know what to look for in a new rescue cat. Easy to deal. with. Maybe a bit rough with shot and shaky with medicine administered by mouth, but got the job done in no nonsense manner.
We've been going to Southwood for over 6 years now for all of our cats. By and large pretty good experience. Dr. Blount who only is on site once a week is excellent to deal with. Would rate higher except with Dr. Ashburn attempting to retire they definitely need another Doctor on staff - very difficult to make appointments in a timely manner. (August 2018)
As always you care for Olivia was great, I just wish she didn't have t go thru this process. We relied on a product that we thought was trustworthy and safe for all our dogs and it turned out to be unsafe for Olivia, I am not concerned it will happen again.
Our dog was literally on her death bed when I brought her into Southwood Drive Animal Clinic...her kidney's were shutting down! We were not given any promises of her recovery, but within two days, she was "running and jumping around" according to the Dr. and she has had no health problem since her recovery.
