Why wasn’t one adult allowed to accompany the children I wasn’t notified before I made the appointment and then once I showed up they took them to the back everyone was wearing masks so it makes no sense

We do wear the proper protective equipment, mask AND practice social distancing. To avoid any possibility of transmission of Covid 19, all the precautions and practicing social distancing have been put in place. The office follows the CDC and ADA guidelines that is recommended for a pediatric dental practice. One of the office's goal during the pandemic is to keep the patients, parents, and staff safe. Young patients or a child who exhibits fear/anxiety, that parent comes to the back to give their child support. School aged children who have separated from a parent during the day to attend school tend to be cooperative at a dental visit. If a parent is needed at any point during the appointment,that parent is requested to come back. Hopefully you can understand all the precautions we are taking. Be safe and stay healthy.
